Prince of Persia,2008 (for the die-hard fans alone)!!!
It took me about 3 weeks to complete the game. I played the game on an average of 4 to 5 hours a day.
Basically the graphics of the new POP is good in the sense that it was not seen before in the earlier editions. The game play is totally based on user key response and combos (why am i saying this!!!)
You get to see the classic prince styles very rarely like the wall run, where earlier you need to hold down a button in previous versions now just a single button press.
And also you will be chased down by someone else to the corner previously but now you get to talk and learn about the environment through your sweet and sexy companion,Elika.
The dual player combat system was expected with much hype, but to some extent it did not take me to much greater heights.
The Bosses,4 of them, they are twisted and slimy looking almost crooked in their corruption(that`s what the villainous things are called throughout the game).
Among which, the key moments of are:
1.Hunter:
lots of puzzle solving along with exotic location, among the rest hunters palace is the most toughest as i have to steer both of them in the wings of Armaaz for almost ten minutes.
2.Alchemist:
Green and mean looking locations, traps of countless number and splendid looking irrigation tank and puzzles in the first three locations. He was the easiest boss to beat overall.
3.concubine:
Devil looking demon possessing the power of illusion and deadly moves, second toughest of the bosses and she is a bit of a chatterbox all the time.
4.Warrior:
The toughest of them all,you have to remember lots of keys and you can`t kill this guy, you have to topple him over the edge of the environment or push him in to a furnace or a cage.I get to jam my sword button in my joystick in doing or accomplishing the move and even after defeating him, I could not able to fix it with repeated strokes.
There are also small time bosses like Elika`s father and some of the corrupted soldiers through the game. There is also a startling revelation about our side kick Elika, that simply swept me off my feet.
Well I get to write so much about it but for the time it took me to complete, I was hoping it would be for months but to my disappointment it was only weeks. It took me about 2 months to complete Warrior Within, 3 years ago. I am hoping that the second installment to the current POP theme to be bigger. If you are a POP fan, please don`t let this game stock in stores. Otherwise you know what else, that i would say and ask.
